Krysta has always made animals the center of her world, starting at a young age with her love for horses, and caring for several animals other than dogs, including birds, guinea pigs, hamsters, and rabbits. She began her pet industry career at a small feed store in her home town, and since then has taken on several roles within the industry including the manufacture and sales of raw pet food, nutritional consulting, and social media marketing. When her pug Bruce Wayne began having medical issues, he inspired Krysta to become a veterinary technician in order to understand more about the veterinary world. Krysta has been a veterinary technician for many years now, and works alongside some of most gifted practitioners in the industry. She has working experience in traditional, holistic, and integrative practices which plays a key part in her knowledge of veterinary medicine and has expanded her knowledge of common (and uncommon) practice within the field. She is absolutely obsessed with learning more everyday in the field of animal health and nutrition. With her combined veterinary and pet industry knowledge, she can effectively help almost anyone she comes across in some way regarding their pets’ health. When she’s not working or researching animal health and nutrition, Krysta enjoys snuggling with Bruce, relaxing with family and friends, dining at new restaurants, and spending time in nature near water.

Dr. Lauren Beaird
Dr. Lauren never considered any other career but becoming a veterinarian. After graduating from veterinary school in 2015, her eyes became opened to how much she still did not know about True healing and the beauty of integrating her knowledge of conventional medicine with the world of holistic medicine.
Her path in veterinary medicine continues adjust as a result of each experience she has, creating a better alignment between what has always been in her heart, and what she is practicing.
She believes that True health does not start in the veterinary clinic- it starts at home. Using a natural approach tailored to each pet, she let go of strict protocols, and listened to what the pet parent’s were observing at home. Understanding the home environment and lifestyle routine was essential to integrate with what the pet was showing her in the clinic to create a healing plan.
Developing a trusting relationship with pet parents to help empower them to understand the healing process is the foundation of each relationship she builds. She is committed to being a lifelong student, knowing there will always be more to learn, and is humbled by all of the experienced natural practitioners who have paved this incredible path before her.
Dr. Beaird practices acupuncture and Chinese Medicine at Vitality Chiropractic in Aurora and will be launching her own online platform, The NaturalPath Vet in the middle of 2023. Dr. Beaird resides in the Chicagoland area with her husband and their 2 young sons.
