CBD Dog Health
At CBD Dog Health, our mission began with founder Angela Ardolino, a certified cannabis clinician specializing in pets and one of the few experts in adaptogen medicine for dogs. Educated through the University of Vermont School of Medicine’s Cannabis Science and Medicine program, Angela applied her training to hundreds of real-world cases at her rescue farm, where senior and special-needs animals thrived under her holistic care. When she saw the lack of safe, effective, organic CBD products made specifically for pets, she set out to create a line rooted in clinical experience, rigorous education, and a do-no-harm philosophy.
Unlike most pet CBD brands, CBD Dog Health is built on seed-to-bottle integrity. Angela learned how to source hemp seeds and cultivate specific strains best suited to support dogs’ unique needs, working only with regenerative and biodynamic farmers in the U.S.
What sets us apart is that our products aren’t theory—they come from practice and evidence. Angela has spent over a decade educating veterinarians, pet parents, and industry professionals while developing and refining protocols through hands-on cases and research studies. All of our CBD comes from hemp grown 100 percent organically and legally in the United States, on our farms in Colorado and Minnesota. No herbicides, no pesticides. We know exactly what goes into our plants and our products from start to finish.
Once harvested, we manufacture our CBD for pets using CO2 extraction, which means we never use liquid solvents like butane, isopropyl alcohol, hexane, or ethanol.
Every ingredient we use is non-GMO and human-grade. Our essential oils are grown without pesticides or herbicides and extracted by cold press or CO2. Our formulas contain no synthetic glycols or chemical additives, and every batch is third party tested for purity and safety.
