It’s a cheaper way to produce large quantities quickly, but it means a poorer quality end product. When mushrooms are cultivated outdoors or wild-harvested on their natural substrates, they develop these beneficial compounds more fully. Then dual extraction from the fruiting body ensures a higher concentration of active compounds in the final product.
