If you’ve been with us for a while, you know that our mission is built on honesty, quality, and nature. That hasn’t changed — and never will. But you may start to notice some changes in how we talk about our products, what our labels look like, and even how we educate. So we wanted to take a moment to tell you exactly why — and what it means for you and your pets.
Same Amazing Products. Slightly Different Labels and Language.

Let’s be clear:
- Our products are not changing.
- Our formulas are not changing.
- Our sourcing, safety, and intention are not changing.
But due to recent regulatory guidance, we are updating some of the language we use on our product labels, our website, and in our educational content. The reason? The FDA has asked us to make certain adjustments to how we describe and market our products — especially when it comes to referencing symptoms, conditions, or diseases. We take compliance seriously. And we also take our relationship with you seriously. That’s why we’re being transparent about this process.
Navigating a Shifting Landscape (Especially for CBD)
As many of you know, CBD and cannabis-based products exist in a unique and evolving regulatory space — especially when it comes to pets. While hemp-derived CBD is federally legal under the 2018 Farm Bill, the FDA still prohibits unapproved health claims about its use in animals.
That means even words like “pain,” “anxiety,” or “arthritis” — even when shared through testimonials — can be considered medical claims.
So while our intention has always been to educate and empower pet parents, we’re now working within even stricter language guidelines. We are updating any content that could be interpreted as suggesting our products are used to treat or cure a specific condition — because that’s what FDA regulations require.
We’re committed to honoring that process while still providing high-quality, plant-based options that support your pet’s overall wellness.
Staying True to Our Promise
Because you’ve trusted us with your pet’s health — and that means everything to us — we believe it’s important to bring you along in this process. We’ve always promised transparency, and that includes sharing these shifts as we make them. You’ll see small changes in how we talk about our products, but nothing changes about who we are, why we do this, or what’s inside each bottle and jar.
What You Can Do
✔️ Support small, truly holistic mission-driven companies disrupting the pet space. Leave a review, share their store, share your experience.
✔️ Buy from brands that source, grow, and manufacture pure botanical products or food with no additives — and tell everyone about them.
✔️ Share our podcast and the stories of people who speak up, have been helped, and educate the public.
✔️ Ask where your pet’s supplements come from — how they’re made, what’s in them, and whether they have a COA — and share the ones doing it right.
✔️ Say no to synthetics and “standardized” blends full of additives that may cause harm. Read the ingredients and demand better.
We’re in this for the long haul. We’ll continue to do what we’ve always done: source with integrity, formulate with intention, and educate with compassion — no matter how the landscape shifts.
