The extracts in Remedy—peppermint, eucalyptus, and arnica—are used in appropriate, pet-safe concentrations and are intended for topical use only. These ingredients are commonly used to support skin wellness, ease occasional discomfort, and promote a calming, cooling sensation. Always avoid applying salve to open wounds or broken skin, and monitor for any signs of sensitivity, especially when trying a new product.

We do not recommend applying REMEDY CBD Salve for dogs to open wounds or broken skin. As Remedy contains peppermint essential oil, which is safely sourced and diluted, but may cause irritation if applied to broken skin.

For sensitive or healing areas, consider a salve without peppermint, like our SOOTHE.

While Remedy is intended for topical support only, we know it’s common for dogs to lick and groom the area after a topical has been applied.

It’s natural behavior, and while we encourage you to try to keep them from licking long enough for the salve to benefit the area it was applied to, you don’t have to worry about the salve being unsafe for licking.

REMEDY is made with all natural, pet-safe ingredients, but we still recommend distracting your dog with a treat, toy, or activity after application to allow time for the salve to absorb fully to the area.

You can apply REMEDY CBD Salve as needed throughout the day. We typically recommend applying 2-3 times daily, or as needed.
