Hemp extract is extremely safe, even at high levels. Lethargy and/or loose stools/diarrhea are the most prevalent, but still not common, side effects. It is very improbable that hemp intake would cause physical harm.

Essential oil quality is the most important factor, make sure to use medical or therapeutic grade oils. Oral administration of lavender, arnica oil, and frankincense is safe for your pet. CBD Dog Health’s products will not make your dog feel “high” Our CBD Salve for Dogs, including our Nourish CBD dog paw balm, is manufactured with hemp that has less than 0.3 percent THC. THC is the psychoactive ingredient in cannabis that makes people feel “high.” Cannabinoids in our CBD oil for dogs and cats, such as cannabidiol (CBD), do not create psychoactive effects or a “high” experience.

According to research and our experience, the most common side effect from too much CBD is diarrhea or some temporary lethargy.
